Six minute watercolor / india ink study from the end of Moonrise Kingdom.

Idea

I see girls around campus always drawing on their tablets and bringing them around with them to their campus and I think I might start. Especially because I want to learn digital art a lot faster.

Slowly but surely

Still trying to learn digital art. I want to learn a lot more before I go to college in August!

Phony

I was inspired by Brittney Lee for the millionth time and mimicked the cover to her book coming out. I'm slowly getting the hang of digital art. I had a lot of fun making this. One I start college in the fall I am forcing myself to not mimic anymore.

Moonrise Kingdom

My Moonrise Kingdom gouache painting didn't turn out how I thought it would. It was nice enough for a blogpost though! I think it's pretty good coming from  a 17 year old.The scanner also cropped out a part on the right. There was more of the blue window!

Sara Quin and Grimes

A drawing I did of the gorgeous Sara Quin, from Tegan and Sara. I would have a higher quality image, not from Instagram, if i could fit my sketchbook into my scanner haha. The second one is a positive negative but with ink. It's of Grimes.
